The first Toyota GR Supra GT4 for Pirelli GT4 America has been confirmed, with Forbush Performance set to make its debut in SRO America competition.

The Memphis-based team has announced a single-car entry in the championship for team principal Matt Forbush and Damon Surzyshyn.

It is the first of what is believed to be multiple Supra GT4 entries in the series this season, in the first year of the car on North American soil.

“I have always admired TRD and have been waiting for the opportunity to bring this particular car into the racing series,” said Forbush.

“Outside of having the ability to compete at a pro level in an amazing sports car, it will provide great exposure for zignyl.”

The team plans on competing at the Winter Invitational at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca next month prior to a full season campaign in the 60-minute, two-driver format races, starting with the season-opener at Sonoma Raceway on March 5-7.

Forbush also revealed plans to contest the GT America round on the streets of Nashville in August.
